If It's Not One Thing It's Another

Cooper here. You'd think I had enough to do just keepin' watch all day on the couch, watching out for that sneaky mailman and those stray cats...not to mention that EVIL UPS man, but noooooo, Mommy has added another chore for me. Yes, she brought home something called a "dirt devil". Doesn't sound good does it? It was just sittin' over there in the corner, but I knew it was up to no good. First, mommy was wrestling with it and it was growling and roaring and then she got it beat back into the corner. I couldn't believe what happened next....she just left it there and went off to the computer. Well, I took up watch over it, someone has to be responsible around here.

The Abominable Snowman

Cooper here. Betcha' thought I was the Abominable Snowman didn'ya?? Nope, it's me Cooper, back home here in Washington. Me and Mommy and Daddy moved back here 'cause we missed the snow, or I think that is why we moved back here. Oh yeah, we brung ole' Carley too. Mommy said we had too.
I been playin' in the snow bunches!! When we first got here, there wasn't no snow, but then one morning I woked up and there it was!!! I was hoping it would come soon, so Santa Paws can come with his sleigh and visit me. I wrote him a long list of stuff that I need, and I told him where he could find me this year, since I had moved and all. I told him Carley had moved too, I didn't want him to leave her out, 'cause then I might have to SHARE with her.
Mommy says we are getting even more snow tomorrow. I think she doesn't like the snow so much, she says it's too cold!!! Plus, the snow likes to stick to my paws and we have to blow dry the snow off them... I don't like that part neither!! The very, very best part of snow though, is I don't get as many baths...Mommy says I will get too cold, so I get to go longer between those ole' baths. Yay SNOW!!!!!

Hook Em Horns!!

Carley here. I had a great football weekend!! Our friends Sam and Chris came to visit to go to the Longhorn Football game with us. Well...actually, I didn't go to the game, but I was cheering the 'Horns on. They won, of course. Cooper stayed home too, but he didn't cheer nobody on.

Carley says Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Carley here. Happy Birthday Daddy!! This is just me sayin Happy Birthday, too, not Cooper, just me!! Cooper wouldn't even come out of the house at first, mommy had to trick him by saying "Hello, Jake" and Jake wudden even here. Geeez!! What me and mommy have to go through to get Cooper to coperate!!

Today is My Daddy's Birthday!!

Cooper here. Today is my Daddy's Birthday!!! He is not here, though, for us to give him kisses...he had to go to that ole' Alabama place to look at stupid airplanes again!! Me & Carley miss him bunches!! We want him to come home so we can go to the LAKE!! Mommy helped us make this sign for him so we could tell him Happy Birthday!! Daddy, this picture is me giving you kisses!! Carley isn't givin no kisses, she's just standin' there!!

Carley's Take on the New Fence and Other Stuff

Carley here. First off, that Cooper is a big, fat ole LIA....uh.....I mean fibber!! (Mommy says it's not nice to call people liars...even if they are) He didn't build that fence, our brother Brandt and our Daddy builded it. Cooper didn't build nothin'!! And mommy says that the sign is gonna have my name on it too, not just his stupid ole name...that ole LIA....I mean fibber!! All's I'm saying is if Cooper had on pants they would have burned up a long time ago.
And so what if I got a few sticky burrs on me...least I'm not afraid to get in the water!! That Cooper is a big ole' fraidy cat of everything. But Burt & Alice's park is lots and lots of fun. Mommy and Daddy took us there for Cooper's Birthday and then we got to go again last week. I hope Mommy and Daddy take us again for MY Birthday...which is coming up really, really soon. (Maybe for my birthday wish, I will wish Cooper don't get to go to Burt & Alice's Park.) I am going to be 2 years old!!! I can't wait!! Here's a picture of me in front of the fence my Daddy built.

Pedernales State Park & The New Fence

Cooper here. I have been a very busy fellow. I have been building a fence. My daddy and me built it. It has a sign on it, too. The sign says "Cooper's House", cause it is. It don't say Carley nowhere on it neither. That is not all I been doing. I also went and played in the sand at Burt & Alice's State Park. I just love that place!! I like to roll and roll in the sand. I let Carley come too. 'Course, she got sticky burrs all over her. I didn't get no burrs on me. She is sooo dumb. We didn't see Burt or Alice anywhere's though, but I sure do like their park and I am glad they let me play in it and roll in their sand!! Here is some pictures of my fence I built. Me and Daddy still have to do the gates for the front of it.

Cooper here. Sorry we have been away so long. We have been very busy. I don't know what we were busy doing, but I know it was something. My mommy has been very busy too. She got a new job at the Post Office. She sorts mail with a grouchy lady named Ebbolin. She just has to work in the morning times, though...hey....hey, cut it out......mmshsllsjmem.....
Carley here, shove over Cooper, it's my turn already!! First off, her name isn't Ebbolin, dummy, it's Evelyn! And mommy said she is really nice most of the time. Anyways, I wanted to tell about my Annversary!! I have lived with Mommy and Daddy for one whole year!!! YAY!!! Also, my daddy is coming home today from Indynanna. He has been gone ever so long. CUT IT OUT COOPER...mshshsmslsd;j.sxmfd;fkjd....OWWWWW!!!
Cooper here (again)...I was here first you ole Carley and nobody cares about your Annversary, where I have had to put up with you and your bossy self for a WHOLE YEAR!! And her name is too EBBOLIN!!! Who made you head spell checker anyways?? Anyhow, I was gonna tell about Daddy coming home from Indynanna. Did you forget who's name is on this blog, anyways???
