Tomorrow I Go A' Flying!!!

Hi, Cooper here. Well, today was one looooong day!! My daddy is still gone to that ole' Alabama (whatever that is) and my mommy had to work allllllllll day. It was soooo long until she came home. I was so happy when I heard the garage door go up, cause I know that means my mommy is home!! I was so happy that I peed a little bit (oops!) Then, right after that my brother Chase came home. He took me in the back yard and we ran and ran and I chased the pink ball all over. Then me and Chase came in and Mommy wanted to know why my legs were all green....I played in the grass that was just mowed!! Mommy said "OH, Chase!!" Ha, Ha, I get that Chase into trouble all the time!! But then, I couldn't believe it...I got another bath. I think Chase should have had to have a bath too, but he didn't. Then his friend Darren came over and I barked and chewed on him. Darren used to call me a kitty cat, said I was too small to be a dog...but I think he really does like me, cause he visits me all the time. Mommy says tomorrow I get to fly on an airplane and go visit my Mimi. I am not real sure who MiMi is, but she must be special, cause everyone keeps talking about visiting MiMi, and even my other brother Brandt, who goes to college is going to visit MiMi too while me and Mommy are there. I just hope MiMi has cheese and scrambled eggs at her house, cause I really like those...maybe she might even have a few pig ears!!

Daddy is in Alabama

Cooper here. Well, it was getting really late and my Daddy still hadn't come home. I looked and looked for him!! Then Mommy said he went to Alabama to work!!! Mommy said Daddy would be gone all the way until Friday!! Mommy told me I won't get to see Daddy for a whole week, until next Monday, because me and her are going to Texas on Thursday to see MiMi. That will be fun, but I miss my daddy...think I will go chew on his socks for awhile.....

The Busy Weekend

Cooper here. Well, it was another busy weekend!! On Saturday, me and my daddy went out in the shiny red car. This time Daddy took the top off and we rode around and the wind blowed all inside. It was cool!!! We were riding around and then, I couldn't believe it...Daddy went to that BAD PLACE again!! We didn't see the bad haircut lady though, we saw that nice lady that likes to look at me all over. I decided that this time I would let her look at me really good, so maybe she would get tired of looking at me and we won't have to go there anymore!! Daddy said I got a "Rabies Shot", but I really only just got a dog bone treat...I think maybe Daddy was confused. I also got a shiny new tag, so now I have two tags...I like the red one best that says "Cooper" on it with a bunch of numbers. Then we got back in the car and drove really fast again. Later, after Mommy came home from work, we had company come over. I got to see Harold and Laurie again and then I met a new friend Sam. We all watched Nascar races and I ran around and sat in everyone's lap. It was lots of fun!! Mommy says Harold and Laurie are moving to Alabama...I don't know why they want to do that for. The next day on Sunday, me and daddy went out in the boat. Mommy had to work again. I think she should not work so much, she misses all the fun stuff!!! Me and Daddy went out into the middle of the lake... then we stopped and I was walking around and all of the sudden I was SWIMMING in the lake!! I am pretty sure I was PUSHED!!! I was soooo scared, but then Daddy got me out and dried me off. He said I was a very good swimmer, though. He called Mommy and told her I FELL off the boat. I don't think she was very happy about me swimming in the lake...and neither was I....I like swimming about as much as I like baths. When Mommy got home we went out in the boat again...but I stayed right in Mommy's lap, I wasn't taking any chances this time. Then, we came back home and I was so tired and ready to go to bed, but Daddy gave me a BATH again!! He said it was because I went swimming in the lake. I still love my Daddy though...wonder where he is....he hasn't come home from work yet and I MISS him!!!

My Daddy is Sick....

Hi, Cooper here. Yesterday and today my Daddy stayed home from work 'cause he is sick. I don't like my daddy to be sick, but I do like for him to stay at home with me. I have been helping him though....He has been staying in bed because he don't feel good, so I stay there with him. When my daddy goes to sleep, I keep watch for him and bark anytime I hear something...I don't want anything to sneak up on my daddy while he is sleeping and not feeling good. I bark very loud too, so daddy wakes up and knows that I am keeping watch!! When Daddy wakes up he says, "Cooper, you are the Best Dog Ever"... or I think that is what he is saying....I am still barking loud so I don't quite hear everything, but I am sure that is what he is saying!! On Sunday the Easter Bunny came to visit me!!. I didn't actually see that bunny, but he did leave me a basket by the front door. I didn't like that basket too much, I barked at it. Mommy took all my stuff out and put that ole' basket away, she laughed and said I was a "silly bug", but I didn't like the looks of that basket at all!! I got a ducky to chew on, but sometimes he quacks at me.....don't think I like THAT either!! I did find out this weekend though, that I DO like scrambled eggs!! Yumm!!

A Little Bit of Sunshine, But Not Much!!

Cooper here. This is a really good day. My big brother came home from college last night!! My mommy and daddy are sooooo happy when Brandt comes home!! I like him to come home too, but I think my mommy and daddy must miss him alot, cause they were so excited he was coming to visit. He brought his girlfriend Sarah with him too, she is especially nice. When Brandt comes home, Mommy makes him special food that he likes....I hope it is all stuff I like too, cause Mommy usually gives me some of what they have...hope he doesn't just like chocolate or bananas 'cause I don't like that too much. Also this morning the sun came out for just a little while. I was outside enjoying it, it was so nice and felt sooooo good. I liked it so much that I wouldn't even come in when mommy told me too. She didn't get mad though, she just went and got the camera and took more pictures of me. Mommy likes to take pictures of me, she has that camera pointed at me ALL the time. Sometimes I will smile for her, but sometimes I turn around and she gets pictures of my bottom....I think that is funny!! Today, though, I let her take some of me. Here is my favorite one.

Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Cooper here. Haven't had lots of times to post lately, I lead SUCH a busy life!! First off, yesterday I went to work with my Daddy!!!! Daddy is very busy too, he works on Airplanes and of course he needed my help. We went to work very early in the morning and I was still very sleepy. I went around and checked it all out and made sure everybody was working very hard, and of course they were. There is one guy there, his name is Jay, and he has very smelly shoes. They had so many smells to smell it made me pee on the carpet, OOPS!! My daddy also has a big desk and after I worked so hard checking it all out, I took a nap under Daddy's desk. Then mommy came to Daddy's work...I thought she was going to work too, but she said Cooper had worked enough for one day and took me home. She was right, I was very tired from working so hard, but I think I will need to go back and help Daddy again very soon. After I had been home for awhile and played and eaten lunch, Mommy said "Let's go!!" We went and got in the shiny red car and off we went. Then mommy pulled up to the BAD Place!! Cooper doesn't like it there...last time I went a mean lady cut off all my hair!!! Mommy said we were not going to see the mean lady who cuts hair, we were going to see the nice lady that looks all over at me. She is very nice, but she likes to look in my ears and in my mouth and I don't really like that kind of attention. She has also poked me before with something sharp and I don't like that either. But in we went anyway...Mommy said I had to be a brave boy, because it keeps me from getting sick. I didn't like this visit either and I hope we NEVER, EVER go back there again. I would much rather help Daddy at work. Today was bath day again, here is me after my bath when I do my crazy run around the house, ZOOM, ZOOM!!!!

Saturday is Bath Day....EWWWWWW

Cooper here. Well, today is Saturday and that is pretty good, cause me and mommy and daddy all sleep late. Then we lay around for a while while I get kisses and hugs. I like to sleep late and I really like it when mommy and daddy don't leave me here by myself!! But then....on Saturdays, I have to have the dreaded bath. Not a big fan of the bath, I have to say. Luckily it doesn't last long and then mommy comes gets me with a nice warm towel. She rubs on me and kisses me. Then I get down and race all around the house like mad. I run around and around the coffee table and jump up and down off the couches and race around til I am soooo tired. Then mommy brushes me and I am all soft and fluffy. I like to feel clean, I just don't like how the getting clean happens!! Maybe next Saturday daddy will forget to give me a bath!!
Today was a rainy day. I like it better when it is all sunny and we play outside. But it rained all day long and me and daddy were lazy on the couch.

Daddy and Pig Skins

Hello. Today was a really good day. First, Mommy came home from work and we played and ate lunch. Then I let mommy take a nap because she was really tired. I wasn't tired but kept mommy company and took a nap too. Mommy says I am a really good boy for letting her take a nap. After I thought mommy has slept enough I gave her kisses til she woked up. We went outside to play some more and wait for daddy to get home from work. Mommy tossed my ball to me and I brought it back 2 whole times. She tossed it about 20 times, but I decided to bring it back only 2 times. Mommy still says I am a clever boy!!!
Then Daddy came home in his big black truck that is loud!! I was soooo happy to see my Daddy. Mommy told Daddy about me getting the ball two times and Daddy wanted to see, but I decided I had done that enough for one day. Then Daddy's friend Matt came over. His fingers taste good and his shoes smell good. I like Matt. Daddy gave me some pig skins, they are not like pig's ears, not as good, but they are still pretty good. Mommy didn't like that and she told Daddy "No, No". When mommy tells me "no, no" then she kisses me and tells me I am a good boy after. I notice she didn't do that with Daddy. Hmmmm, maybe Daddy is not a good boy. I hope I get those pig skins again though, they were pretty good.

Spring Break and the Tooth Fairy

Today I realized Chase is not here...looked for him this morning in his bed....nope, he wasn't there. Daddy says Chase is on "Spring Break" in Texas and will be home in a week. I think Mommy and Daddy miss him, and so do I, so maybe spring will break faster and he can come home quicker. I hope so.

Also today I lost my first tooth!!! Mommy says maybe the dog tooth fairy will come visit me since I am such a good boy. She says maybe the dog tooth fairy will bring me a pig's ear...YUMMMMM!!! Maybe I can chew on the stick of her wand too....hmmm, maybe if I bark at her she will drop some extra pig's ears..............but maybe she might not come, because I am not really that good of a boy. Today I chewed up Brandt's controller wire on his Play Station, Daddy says Brandt will be mad. Maybe nobody has to tell Brandt or the Toothfairy......I really would like to get some new pigs ears!!!!
